Imperial Fleshcrownes are an active and playful breed. They are equally good at flying and climbing and while they are not good swimmers, they love to take an occasional dip. Fleshcrownes live in large social groups called “communities.” Adult Fleshcrownes share the responsibility of looking after the young, who are very playful and active. Even after maturing, they retain their curious and mischievous natures, often getting into trouble. The fleshy crowns on their head can be raised at will, and are usually erect when happy, excited, or scared. Fleshcrownes—being a very peaceful breed—are more prone to flight than fight. If threatened, they can raise their crowns while hissing in an attempt to scare off predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rascal is yet another unruly, thieving Imperialhoarder sibling, though she may be the least offensive. She looks up to her older brothers, Imp and Scoundrel, immensely and is gullible enough to do literally anything they say. She loves helping with their little reigns of terror and causing trouble around their home island. It's especially ironic given how innocent she acts all the time. You never get the feeling that she's actively trying to hurt others, it's more like she's just following whatever her brothers are doing and having a blast while doing so. That said, she can be just as devilish when put up to it. Her brothers have learned how to weaponize her charm and often use her as a distraction to others while they steal every bit of valuable treasure they can find or set up some elaborate prank. Either way, Rascal is considered a menace just like the rest of them, and their poor father, Crest, is left to deal with the wreckage.
