Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kureia is a bit on the small side for a black dragon, but she makes up for it with a sharp tongue along with superior speed and agility. She hates being idle and is almost always moving around, often talking to other dragons or flying. She is the youngest of the four original dragons in Centauri Caverns, but she is still considered one of the oldest and enjoys talking to the three other elder dragons—especially Aubrynth, who has remained a sort of older sister figure to her. However, because of her late arrival, she mainly grew up with her best friends Fulmenius and Solian, the former of whom eventually became her mate. The three still enjoy spending time together.
