Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pam is one of the Countess' children that is not usually mentioned in the family. She is fourth rank in nobility, as she took Victoria's position. Even though Victoria is a much older vampire than she, the Countess doesn't recognize her as a strong-willed vampire to hold such position.

Because of that, Victoria secretly hates Pam and is constantly stalking her, hoping she will get her opportunity to take down her sister and prove to the Countess her worth. Though Pam is not a vampire to underestimate, as she is very well aware of her sister's goal. Pam might not care for her position in the family, but she is not to be messed with. She is a liar, a deceiver, a cheater, and jack of all trades. She is the joker who plans her moves ten steps ahead, and she uses third party members secretly to do all her dirty work.

That is why the Countess chose her, and that is why Victoria will never be able to beat Pam and prove her worth to the Countess.
