Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Firixia is but a distant vamp living in a growing clan of vampires. She is not sociable at all and tends to stick in the shadows as her clan travels, always harboring a traumatic experience that nearly got her killed. She was found as a young dragon that had been badly wounded by one of her own kind because she had mistakenly wondered into a cave of a very territorial vamp. One of the Bloodfangs had found this dying dragon on the outside of the cave and had brought her into the clan where she had recovered and grown. In debt to her clan she forever remains loyal and serves them by being the lookout while they eat and sleep. Though loyal and respectable, she feeds alone and continues to stick to dependency to make up for all of the years of relying on her clan to help her thrive and heal. She also has a never ending fear of her own species, even her own clan-mates. All except for Aiorrow, her savior, whom she often seeks safety and comfort in times of distress.
