Failed attempts to experiment with magic often result in transforming dragons into these hellish creatures. They are extremely dangerous, and will mindlessly kill any living creature without regard to friend or foe.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Redead was once a Sunrise dragon before he met his unfortunate end on Halloween night. Caught in a bad storm, he found himself separated from his living group. But he was determined to reunite with them. Thus he braved the storm into the night. Sadly, his group never met with their missing brother. Instead they were greeted by the haunting sounds of his death cry. A cry which could send fear into the very heart of the greatest warrior. Hence the origin of his new name comparing him to a creature of a similar scream.

In his death, he is still determined to find his lost group despite all logic that they will never accept him back. It has become his only purpose to still wander the land of the living. Nothing else to him matters and he will go to any means to see this goal reached.
