Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

"I heard you're raising another dark green dragon. You just can't get enough," the herbalist muttered.

The witch pointed out to one of the small holes with tangled foliage sticking out, red budding flowers swaying from side to side. The hole that was dug up seemed to be miscalculated, however, since the hatchling's spiked head remained sticking out, her beady eyes staring at them as they approached.

The enchantress was no longer fazed by this. Dark green dragons seemed to hate almost everyone equally, it was nothing personal. Experience was a harsh but effective teacher, the lessons regarding these dragons stayed, along with the scars, of course. "Say your greetings to Milfoil, sister. A kind keeper dropped her by as a gift."

The younger woman stared at the witch in disbelief. "And you actually named an extremely violent dragon after a medicinal herb..." she dryly whispered.

The dragon eventually matured, and would prefer to destroy anything close to her that moves.

Oh, the irony.
