Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. As the sun beamed mercilessly down upon the humble land, a beautiful, young serpent traversed her favorite grassland with immeasurable passion. Her name was Shinigsunheart, and she was, without a doubt, the most cheerful creature in the land. Everything was picturesque to her: the bright plumage of the grassland birds, the honesty-blue skies, the shimmering dew on the plants, everything. She thought of roses and simple summer days, chirping and giggling as she went along. She wanted to think about everything, she wanted to know about truth.

Suddenly, her slithering form came to a halt. All she could hear was the ominous whisper of the morning breeze. Her eyes, once glowing with endless exuberance, became somber. She had wanted to think about everything and to know about truth. She thought about everything: she was, in fact, not the most cheerful creature in the land. She knew about truth: her name was really stupid.
