Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cowardly, abnormally small and weak, Heart Mountain will run away at the first sight of danger. Blinded by bright light, Heart Mountain lives in the very back of the clans cave, where no light can reach her sensitive eyes. Though extremely afraid of anything bigger then a mouse, Heart Mountain will do anything to protect her mate, the clan, and, most of all, the clans young. Because of her fears, and her devotion to the young, Heart Mountain is the designated Head Hatchery Dragoness. With a heart as big as a mountain, and as soft of the infants she raises, every little dragon has a place in her heart.
