Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is so full of energy that you have a hard time keeping up with it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ragga is a Baby Whiptail dragon. Her mom, dad, and owner Snakecharm are always taken really good care of her, they spoil her lots. Ragga sometimes get very annoyed with her ability to run. She runs to fast for any of the other kids and most of the adult dragons to keep up, and she runs to slow to keep up with the adult Whiptail dragons. She wishes Snakecharm would hurry up and get another baby like her in the cave so she have someone to run all the time.
