Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Daemai, maiden of the whispering willow, as evasive as a moonbeam, and as wild as the north wind, this dragoness dwells shrouded in mist and mystery. Few have been blessed enough to hear the strange melodious timbre of her voice, and fewer still have gazed upon her regal countenance. She lives deep in the untamed heart of the mountains, in a small valley, so high that it is perpetually hidden in clouds, beneath the rustling boughs of a willow tree. She lies there every night to sing, guiding those weary travelers who have lost themselves in the mountains, lost faith and courage in the mist. She is their guiding voice. While much about Daemai is unknown, facts are facts, she is truly nothing more than a dragon, although her scales may shine a little more than most, perhaps. She has a heart of gold, and is always willing to take in those in need and help them and guide them to their proper paths.
