Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.

And look! Its back legs have become a second set of wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Surakno is a down-to-earth, yet non-serious skywing hatchling. He likes to just chat about whatever subject that comes to mind, and is rarely distempered. He speaks with a calm, laid-back tone, and his eyes are usually partially closed. While he's one of the fastest fliers in his clan, he loves to race his friends on his four wings. This looks like he's walking on curved stilts, and believe it or not, he's actually pretty fast on them. Aside from lounging and frequently walking, he does his day-to-day tasks from the air. He's not usually tasked with hunting for his chores, but instead is tasked with gathering fruits and leaves to feed herbivore dragons. His high speed makes him a candidate to trade with nearby human villages and allied dragon clans.
