Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aretnai is a male Soulpeace dragon, a warrior in an ongoing feud between the Soulpeace dragons and the Vampire dragons of the Land of HeroHorse. Despite the acts of violence which the feud forces him to commit, he is a peaceful dragon at heart and has a desire to please others as best he can. However, Knight Of The Daylight, the leader of the group of feuding Soulpeace dragons, has used Aretnai's innate desire to please other to manipulate him into doing her bidding. He knows little of how his leader's personality has changed so drastically, corrupted by the ideals which she now claims are the best and the only guidelines on how to live life.

Aretnai sometimes wonders about the Vampire dragons which he is made to fight against. He would like to know what their lives are like, whether any of them feel as though the war is wrong and whether they're all the immoral monsters which his leader makes them out to be. However, Aretnai has yet to discover the answers to these puzzling questions.
