Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gilded Queen is only too happy to live up to the standard image of the tinsel.  She loves to be worshiped, and if tribute is involved, then so much the better.  Gilded Queen is vain as well as greedy, and will lounge on her piles of gold and jewels in a position that best shows off the gleam of her scales.  Flattery is a good way to earn her interest, and bribery even better—she values quantity over quality, and would rather have a pile of ordinary golden coins than one rare relic from a lost civilization.
