Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

VioletSoul is a very busy dragon that does not enjoy company at all. He detests the very thought of having offspring and isn't very keen on the idea of having a mate either. None of the others really like him anyway because he is never found inside the main cave and even found his own patch of territory. His version of territory has differed from other dragons versions because he is part of a clan. For him, territory is the one area of land where he goes, other dragons go to the territory but he just pretends that they are not there. He is very easily agitated and can even become violent whenever it gets close to sunrise. This is the reason that mothers inform hatchlings to stay away from his area until they are big enough.
