Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tex O'Malley is one of the stealthiest and deadliest female black dragons to have existed within her clan. In the dead of night she is almost invisible, unable to be seen by humans and dragons alike. The small amount of magic that she has allows her to hide her presence even more, making it possible for her to be standing right in front of someone without them even noticing her. This gives her an opportunity to strike with a great and deadly slash of her claws. She usually prefers to hunt alone, knowing that the other dragons may give away her position and make it impossible for her to catch anything.
