Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lord Raj is the wisest dragon in his clan. He is not an old dragon, but has wisdom beyond his years. He does not leave his cave much, but that does not mean he is lazy. He spends most of his time studying arcane scrolls in his own small cave high up the mountain. Lord Raj is loyal to his clan, but does not give out pieces of his advice lightly. He much prefers to let the world take its own course. When a Shallow-water egg came to the clan, Lord Raj turned to the task of fathering the egg. He taught the hatchling and named her Semily. After she was grown, he gave her care to Ari-roth the water dragon, because Semily belonged to the lake, not the earth.
