Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gildaine is the third child of the Breedery's very first dragons, Stormarden and Gilderstane, and the first to remain at home with his parents instead of being sent into the world. As one of the few dragons to have lived in the Breedery from its very first days of existing, Gildaine tends to put on airs. The wild-born Golds and Silvers might think they're the Kings and Queens of the Hill, and the Desipis may openly acknowledge no authority but their own—Gildaine still sees himself and his kin as the Breedery's true 'royal family'. He is especially frustrated with his father Gilderstane for not 'standing up for himself' more. What the gray dragon doesn't understand is how totally bored his father is by the idea. To show off his primacy, Gildaine is always the first of the diurnal dragons into the sky each day, and the last to return to the mountain to sleep each night. Sometimes he spends the night asleep on the wing, but with so many other fliers around, that can be dangerous.
