Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A migrant from an icy island in the far north, Gunnmundr did not find it easy to build up a life in Alba. Wherever he tried to settle on the main land he would be repulsed by the clans already living there. Only the rocky islands surrounding the main land offered him the opportunity for a new existence. A few other renegade Black dragons had already settled there, and he had to prove himself in combat for a place on those hostile cliffs. His body hardened by his heartless homeland he defeated most opponents with ease—until he met Gunnhildr. The fight between the two Blacks was a spectacle to be seen. She was both fast, outmanoeuvring he who had flown in the strongest storms, and had a strength in her claws he could not match. For the first time in his life Gunnmundr was forced to yield—and was then asked to be her mate. The first to come even close to defeating her he had earned a place by her side, an opportunity he gladly accepted.
