Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Iorist is a scholar. She enjoys searching out new forms of magic to use. Books and scrolls are among her favourite treasures. Iorist has a very practical nature and will do whatever has to be done with a minimum of fuss and bother, including making sure she has a good supply of food before she starts to investigate a line of magic. It takes a lot to upset her equanimity, although she can be short tempered if she is continually interrupted whilst researching. She is also more nervous than usual when she is caring for an egg and raising a hatchling.
Iorist enjoys pitting her wits against the humans who attempt to kill her, often challenging them to a game before letting them go free. Humans who cheat are eliminated on the spot. She looks for brawn, good looks and caring in her mate(s), realising that few can match her intelligence so it is a waste of time to look for brains as well. Her favourites among the traditional dragon treasures are emeralds and gold.
