Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Like the egg it hatched from, it is a very shiny gold.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

SweetBabyGold is a darling Gold Dragon hatchling. She is so polite and kindhearted. SweetBabyGold never mentally says anything mean, believing that if one can't say something nice then they shouldn't say anything at all. She was raised to be a perfect little lady, before she was stolen from her parents as a young hatchling. Her time in captivity was dark and cold, but she doesn't remember much of it. SweetBabyGold was eventually bought by her owner from a quasi-legal auction, and now lives in her current cave. SweetBabyGold is happy to be out of that tiny cage, and now she is free to play with other hatchlings.
