This hatchling appears to be... dead?

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Dead Forever is a corpse that sits it a corner of a cave, doing nothing.  It never eats, plays, or talks. This happened because the owner accidentally froze it too soon and now it is a dead corpse forever. Sometimes hatchlings come over to it when they are bored and poke it but usually they only do it because they're on a dare or they want to impress a female hatchling.  At halloween the owner usually puts a tombstone and pumpkin near it as a grave.
