Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Koelsches evokes exactly two kinds of reactions in her fellow dragons, one part finds her loud, obnoxious, annoying, and grumpily rude and they only wish to be left alone. The other (far smaller) group finds her funny, refreshingly open and honest, and easy to befriend. Koelsches agrees with the later group but doesn't mind the opinion of the stuck up majority one bit. It's their loss after all.
