Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Daughter of Hazel Dorkface and Wizard Zarson, Zarsela's name is a combination,in a way, of her parent's first names. Although she is a "Dorkface", she has no idea what this means. She was raised in an isolated cave all her hatchling life and never knew of the outside world until she reached adulthood. This is when her mother, Hazel, started introducing her to Vair's cave and that's where she met Teufel. After a very long and strenuous courting process, Zarsela was allowed to have Teufel as her mate. They take residence in the same mountain as her mother and father do and live just as a secluded life as her mother had raised her in. Her crystals are the most beautiful that anyone has ever seen. If she were exposed to more of the outside world, she might bewitch more male dragons than she could fend off and have a terribly violent end. She isn't aware of this, but her mother is, and one day she might become so intrigued by the mysterious outside world that she will venture on her own...
