Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Calm and constant, Pillar of World is a dragon one can always find. Just like the rest of his breed, Pillar, a Stone dragon, likes to sit by the side of the road watching travellers as they go on their way. Though not the strongest, or even the greatest, Pillar of World has become famous from a misunderstanding. One day as he sat walked along the road, an exhausted traveller mistook the sitting Pillar as a sacred statue: an avatar of some holy and great being. Excited, the traveller told everyone he could find about the news of the sacred statue. Now Pillar suffers from constant offerings, and waking up to find travellers praying in front of him. Once, he even woke up to find a shrine built around him. Though known throughout the region, Pillar of World has not allowed himself to become proud or arrogant. Instead, he prefers to speak only when needed, or to move when he annoyed: something that caused his problem in the first place.
