Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Marry-Rose Christmas loved flowers, not for the pure enjoyment of their smell like the other Rosebud dragons but because of the romantic images and fantasies they conjured up for her. At the scent of a red rose, Marry-Rose immediately thought of fantastical dates and the stars promising true love. At the scent of an orchid, Marry-Rose was reminded of mystery and secrets to be found only in dark caverns beneath the earth. Therefore, Marry-Rose was thrilled at the prospect of creating her own story by helping to grow the palace garden. Something was missing however, and that was a way to describe what each flower meant to her. When Marry-Rose was about to give up the hope of expressing herself, a stack of paper named Paper Baron approached her. He had this idea that the narratives and feelings Marry-Rose wanted to express could be placed on paper. However, since both were not sure how to do this, a mission and a friendship had begun.
