Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Luminacia is Dragon Isle's main healer. She is very skilled in making herbs and some forms of healing magic. She does tend to be kind of arrogant and prideful at times, much like many Lumina Dragons, but she does her job well and has managed to help many sick and injured dragons on the island overcome illness.  

Luminacia was an abandoned egg with slight cracks in the shell. Kelasia brought the beautiful egg back to the hatchery cave and watched over it until it hatched. Little Luminacia was born, healthy and well.

Luminacia was a rather snooty hatchling. She didn't make friends easily because she was so picky when it came to whom she associated with. She especially didn't like any slimy and dirty dragons because they ruined her "perfect" scales.

Nowadays, she's a lot more accepting of different types of dragons. She heals any and all who come to her, and though she kept her arrogance and pride, she has matured into a rather wise and beautiful adult.
