Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Royal Crimson Dragons are so named due to their massive size and confident, regal bearing. Most of the time they are laid back, ignoring non-prey creatures smaller than themselves, although they will occasionally take fresh kills from other dragons as a reminder of their place in the social order. Although there are few other dragons large enough to pose a threat to Royal Crimsons, they have little tolerance for potential rivals and will fiercely defend their territory from such intruders.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Mavra claims to have inherited a powerful magical gift unique to her grandparents' famous lineage. What this gift is, no one is really sure. She has tried many different types of magic, from healing to battle spells to transformation magic, and has found herself remarkably untalented at all of them. Her one "success," if one can call it that, was an attempt to make a chest have more room on the inside than it took up on the outside. The result was an odd blueish chest that was disappointingly smaller on the inside. But strangely, whatever was placed inside disappeared when the lid was closed. Sometimes objects would reappear later, but usually its contents were gone forever. Mavra threw the chest in a back corner out of frustration, until it was discovered by a band of hatchlings who believed, from rumors they had heard, that the chest was a portal to a fantastic world trapped in eternal winter. Luckily they are now too big to fit inside, and Mavra has given up enchanting containers.
