Among the most elusive of dragon breeds are the Aeon Wyverns, a breed whose innate control over time mana marks them singular and great. They are able to peer into the multi-dimensional plane of time, seeing all that is, all that has been, and all that could be—within a small localized zone. When utilizing particularly strong magic, the black markings carved into an Aeon’s body glow a bright cyan, painting them in an ethereal blue light. In the past, they have been sought after as oracles to bring swift resolutions to major conflicts, but it is in exactly such sorts of times that they are nowhere to be found; rather than influence the outcome, Aeons much prefer to allow the natural order of things to progress, however grim that may be.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Instead, Lord dreams of an old world. Dreams of those from whom life has fled, yet still they walk and fight. Dreams of a great city, once splendid under the sun but now a mere phantom in the moonlight. Dreams of journeys that span leagues and centuries, and of those who take these journeys, leaving misery and pain behind them.

Dreams of sunlight and darkness.

Dreams of fire and ash.

Lord welcomes his dreams, as he seeks to unravel the mysteries of this other world, writing down half-formed, fleeting messages upon his return to this world. What he perhaps finds the most curious is that some of those in this other world share the names of dragons in this world, and especially curious does he find that most prominent vision, a mournful figure clad in moonlight, who shares the name of a certain gold dragon...
