Soulstone Dragons are deeply empathic creatures. The pearls which they carry with them from a very young age are deeply attuned to the emotions of those around them, glowing in accordance with the strength and sincerity of the bonds individuals share with one another. Soulstone dragons have the ability to show that, even in the heat of a vicious feud, the love that friends, family, and partners share for one another remains true and strong.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lilac Pearl has been carrying a pearl along with her ever since she hatched, and nobody knows for certain how she got it. Some say she found it by the ocean, others say she hatched with it. A few even believe it fell out of the sky while they were all sleeping. But whenever they ask how she got it, Lilac doesn't say. All they know is that it's magic.

Lilac's pearl tells her the emotions of nearby dragons and the emotions of those she is closest to. Lilac is also good at socializing in itself. She lives her life as a dragon "therapist," helping to keep dragons calm, peaceful, and overall nice.
