Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Her name translates to Little Herbs from Latin. She helps her mother with the plants, and is very good at picking out herbs for healing. She is very friendly with all of the dragons in the cave, and as one of the ageless hatchlings, is treated with the same respect of her parents. Erba, as she is called by the others, is a hard worker and can take orders flawlessly. She likes to practice healing on the other hatchlings, but she is capable of fixing minor problems on adult dragons as well. She is a little awkward in the air, but she enjoys flying around the Tutus Valles.
