Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Eron inhabited the basement of the Cliffshore castle for years, forgotten by all. Hadis showed no interest in him, and nor did anyone. He was about to fall dormant, surviving only with the earth's energies that fueled him, when an unexpected event shook his life—a human moved in. Eron was so excited that he wanted to go out and see it for himself, but after long periods of inactivity, his movements were uneasy, and he accidentally rammed into a wall, shaking the castle's foundations. Thanks to the tremors, Eron was found by Eredale, who took care of him ever since.
