Gold-horned Tangars are a brightly colored tropical breed. They are primarily herbivores, and eat a wide variety of fruits and flowers in addition to the occasional bird. Tangars are well suited to life in the trees; their slender bodies make them light enough to be supported by thinner branches and agile enough to avoid obstacles while flying. Their brightly colored horns, found in both males and females, are used to attract mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tropical Paradise is a fun-loving and excitable dragon. If any members of the Thalmorian-Clan are depressed, he will try his best to cheer them up and make them smile. While his official mate is Goddess of Love and the two even have a baby together, both of them don't seem to be interested in each other anymore. Tropical has instead started to show interest in Leafsong, which the young female openly returns. The two often can be seen flying together, performing complicated tricks and even making up whole choreographies which they perform to entertain the other dragons. They also share their meals and lie in the sun next to each other, talking about random things and enjoying the warmth. Other than Leafsong, Tropical gets along well with almost every clan member. Sure, there are a few exceptions, Vengeance for example, but he's rarely involved in fights and arguments. He's mostly neutral towards his owner, but often collects fresh fruits and edible herbs for the human.
