Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is rather pale in color and likes to sleep while balancing on one leg.

And look! It has grown wings and a large head crest! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Peleke is a competitive, greedy little hatchling that fights fiercely for food. He believes there isn't enough food to go around, often wailing and screeching at any dragon who dares to take his prey. He is also a loner, preferring only the company of himself and no one else.
