White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nerufina is known as the "Cave Mother" of jadeliller's dragons. She is one of The Five Elders. She helps raise all of the dragons jadeliller brings or rescues. She is good friends with Wapatoe, she understands her sarcastic wit and doesn't take it personally. She doesn't approve of training young dragons to fight, but understands that they will need to learn how to defend themselves quickly. There is one hellfire wyvern she is good friends with, and that is Hectar. She refuses to explain why she is friends with him. Some say it is because she saved him on the day he hatched from a pack of wild dogs. Her favorite pastime is teaching, and dragonets aren't the only ones who come to her lessons...
