Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Qutep is quite the smug dragoness. When she was still a hatchling things were different though, she was rather shy and timid and wished she could be as gorgeous and confident as her fellow Stripe hatchling Dafoh and used to secretly follow her around (never admitting—even to herself, that she had a bit of a crush on the other girl). All that changed when one day Dafoh ran into a mad sorceress riding upon a fearful Royal Crimson. At first Qutep was as terrified of the all-powerful duo as Dafoh but after the two had left and the two hatchlings weren't hurt, Qutep found a piece of parchment on the ground that changed her life forever. The note, obviously fallen out of the sorceress' pocket, had a glaring typo. And if even such almighty people could make mistakes, then there really was no reason to be afraid to make mistakes or assume that others were somehow better than oneself.

Qutep has given the small piece of parchment a place of honour in her hoard and still values it to this day.
