Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon is one of the last surviving members of the Dangeruse clan. Named Skyliner, for her beautiful markings and unmatched speed, she is the only egg to have survived the stoneside massacre-- a sneak attack by a rival clan which claimed the lives of fellow clanmates, both human and dragon alike.

Her human guardian, Eve, was one of the few human survivors. Eve and her brothers, Gideon and Malik, escaped the stoneside massacre with two healthy eggs. Unfortunately, the second egg was lost.

Skyliner is the only dragon to have been successfully transported, hatched and raised in the clan's new home, at Tallis castle.

As first born of the Tallis Rookery, Skyliner has naturally assumed her position as rookery nurse. There, she watches over new-found eggs and helps rear the hatchlings, training them to become guardians and protectors of her small, but thriving clan.

She is fiercely intelligent, loving and loyal.
