Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Down, deep, around in spirals and twists, wind the tunnels of Digger the earth dragon beneath Mount Burdock.  For nine generations, the bravest of local villagers have crept through the darkness, lusting for the treasures they believe the old dragon seeks from the heart of the mountain.  The least foolhardy kept careful maps of their explorations, but the passageways shown on the oldest maps are known to differ from those shown on the new.
