Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
His owner tracking down the lineage of his family, found out that Vampira-Darkness was originally the newborn egg of a pair of Green Dragons. Vampira doesn't remember how he managed to get bitten by one of his own when he was still an egg, or where his parents had been when this happened. His only remembrance was the pain he felt when bitten, followed by a feeling of darkness and his body starting to feel cold. After "turning" all memories of his family had been erased except for that event. He no longer feels anything when his owner mentions about his family, though he tries to remember the love he had felt in that short time he spent with them as an egg. He has since long, adjusted to the new change of turning, as well as his new thirst on feeding on blood. Though he stays away from his owner, usually hiding in a dark cave and "embracing" the darkness and the cold. His owner named him Vampira-Darkness as an inside joke to his owner's love of the shadows himself.
