Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Quiet and reserved, Ptolemy Symphony is unusually composed for a black dragon. He can frequently be seen wandering the lush forests around the dragon cave, alone, seemingly lost in thought. Ptolemy claims that the natural tranquility of the forest puts his mind at ease and calms any violent tendencies his instincts might have. This aloofness may paint him as a loner, but the black dragon is surprisingly quite the opposite. He is polite and respectful to his fellow cave-mates, even the ones that enjoy teasing him for his timidity, and very rarely appears upset or bothered. This is in stark contrast to his fiery-tempered mate and long-time friend, Kobi Kuru, who was raised in the same nursery as he. Despite being complete opposites in personality, the two dragons are undying in their loyalty to one another and Ptolemy seems to be the only one able to calm Kobi Kuru's amazingly short-temper.
