Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, it has been hiding among the tree leaves.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

TerribleTropicalTree is a Neotropical Dragon hatchling with a horrible temper. He's always picking on someone else, mostly other hatchlings but he is also mean to humans. He fights all the time, and he fights dirty. TerribleTropicalTree will bite and claw, he's scarred a few other hatchlings. He's maimed a number of humans, and now human villages will attack him on site. It is a good thing that other dragons from his cave aren't willing to see TerribleTropicalTree killed, because they've intervened on his behalf many, many times at all of the nearby human villages.
