Anagallis Dragons are a medium-sized omnivorous breed. Widespread and adaptable, their easygoing nature enables them to flourish under most conditions. They are social creatures, fun-loving and outgoing, and will readily defend smaller dragons from others’ aggression. They are fond of sunshine, and can often be found basking on rocks; on cloudy or stormy days they are more reluctant to venture out, and will often hide themselves away until the weather is more favorable.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Viridi Deserto, also known as Green Wilderness, is a long time friend of Duellum Calor. She first encountered Duellum while basking on a rock with the rest of her pack. Because of Hooktalons having a reputation of stealing food from other dragons, she was aggressive at first and tried to drive him out. Realizing he had no interest in their food at all, and looked as if he had nearly died in a fight, she convinced her tribe to share some food with him. After he finished the meal (and almost saying nothing at all), she pointed him in the direction of an oasis.

Every once and a while, Duellum would visit her and occasionally bring another drake with him. A particularly intelligent ochredrake, named Decor Arbores. Apparently he's now some sort of protector of the innocent. She doesn't understand it all very well, but she's just glad that Duellum is finally able to muster a smile now.
