Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Love's egg was laid by loving parents in a peaceful friendly clan. But due to a terrible accident, her egg, as well as quite a few others, were lost to her clan shortly before she was ready to hatch. But when she hatched all alone in the wilderness Love didn't give up. She waited for the egg next to her to hatch, all the while talking to her only friend in her loneliness, telling her about the many wonderful people out there, dragons and humans alike, and how they would find a new home with some mystical creature named "Herk" of whom her parents' clan had always talked.

And that's exactly where she and DiDem ended up, in the clan of Herk's dragons. Much later she found her parents again and learned that she was born to the dragons of Herk's beloved mate Dimar. She now is very happy in her new clan but she visits her own family often, carrying messages and love letters for her human friends.
