Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Her shining scales, handsome wings and rarity make her very sought after, but she does not spend much time with any one suitor and prefers to keep her distance from other dragons. Heart prefers the company of lesser animals like rabbits, horses and swans. They're less complicated, and don't hold her to maddeningly high standards based on her exotic looks.
