Finally, after much feeding, the baby has grown into a full Dino! Dinos can eat almost anything, including things with spikes. In order to do so, they must have very tough stomachs. Green Dinos are the only type of Dino that is able to walk on two legs. This frees up their front two legs, which they use to catch and eat fish.

Quindan is one of the food-gatherers for Firebright Weyr.  He fishes in the nearby river, and has out of necessity become quite adept at snaring fish, since most inhabitants of the river are either small, wary, practically all bones, or some combination of the three.  Quindan is an eternal optimist, and nothing troubles him for very long.  If he fails to catch fish one day, why, he's certain to have better luck tomorrow.  Why Quindan chose to stay with Ategan is unclear, since there are many more prosperous weyrs that could benefit from the services of a fisher, but perhaps he enjoys being one of the primary providers for Firebright Weyr.
