Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Always showing off to the females of both territories and making remarks about his own 'handsomeness' whenever he sees his reflection in the water, Kaap is a prideful, self-loving dragon. Never seen without his strut, this Gold is truly a piece of work.

The thing is, Kaap has a little annoying habit. Whenever Chell, a Republicator Swallowtail, shows up, he will go completely insane. Not the 'wow, you're beautiful' insane, but 'full-out blabbering madness' insane. This has scared Chell out of her wits several times, giving her paranoia on top of her normal mute behavior.

The reason why Kaap is doing this, though, is a mystery to all but one dragon, a dragon that prefers only to be called 'The Lab Rat'. He knows that Kaap used to be a test subject for GLaDOS as well, and that the mere sight of Chell sends him over the edge.

"One can only wonder what would happen if he ever saw GLaDOS again..."
