Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It sleeps a lot, but when it’s awake, it’s quite a handful.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Soodly is pure mischief. Perhaps the only thing that keeps him from being tossed out by his fellow Pillows is the fact that he knows how to butter up anyone. One moment an adult may be scolding him for whatever reason (he is most famous for making messes of everything, resulting in downright chaos) and the next moment, that same adult has Soodly grovelling and begging for forgiveness. He is apologetic and a renowned sweet-talker, and the fact that he is a rather charming, irresistible ball of fluff makes him a little more tolerable. He has heard it said often that he should thank his lucky stars he was born cute, because if he wasn't, he would have been discarded long ago.
