Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Glori Solis has a strange passion (for a dragon). He dances. That is the one and only thing that truly makes him come alive- dancing, bathed in the glow of one of those rare but glorious sunsets, the setting sun twirling ribbons of pink and orange across the sky.

The caves of lchai are full of very down-to-earth dragons. They don't appreciate this silly nonsense about dancing all day- the prey isn't going to die at your feet, waiting for you to eat it. So many dragons (Vento Caeruleo Ibo Moonwing especially) have tried 'schooling' him in the ways of the practical dragon. After all, Glori is an extremely pleasant dragon- graceful, athletic, and polite. It would be a shame for a dragon so full of potential to waste his days dancing.

The only dragon in the caves who understands Glori's fascination with the art of dancing is the artist dragon Merridian Majah Lisuyo Moonwing, a coolheaded Magi that has taken to watching him, dancing in a new dawn.
