Yellow-Crowned Dragons are found in the hottest, driest regions of the desert. Although they thrive in these conditions, they do very poorly in cold or humid climates. These dragons are very fast fliers and skilled hunters, and usually feed on small, quick desert antelope. Yellow-Crowned Dragons are diurnal, and spend the night in underground burrows they dig or steal from other creatures. They are often seen out sunning themselves in the early morning sun, waiting for the heat of the day to set in.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Mad-Dog Morgan has one main grievance: the existence of another male Yellow-Crowned Dragon who has the exact same name, but without the hyphen. It wouldn't annoy him so much were it not for the fact that the other dragons around him have universally decided to call him Morgan, while Mad Dog Morgan is called Mad Dog—a moniker he envies shamelessly and forever complains about. Mad-Dog Morgan insists that HIS name is more grammatically correct, because "mad-dog" is being used as a descriptor instead of two nouns, and Mad Dog Morgan sounds like someone called Dog Morgan who is known for being mad, instead of someone called Morgan who is being compared to a mad dog. Moreover, on the subject of who's being referred to by which names, it would make more sense to call him "Mad-Dog" and Mad Dog Morgan "Morgan" because this essentially reduces both the names down to one word. Despite all his protestations, Mad-Dog Morgan is still seen as the inferior Mad-Dog, or Mad Dog, as the case may be.
