Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vaperim is a spy, very much like Secret Agent Waylera Pinkness. Though not a Pink dragon, she is still well trusted and liked amidst the many members of the Pinkness Army. Perhaps even more so than Waylera, as she has no reason to spy upon the other members of the army. Rumored to have once been a pink dragon, though those rumors are unconfirmed and perhaps completely without foundation, she neither denies it not says that it is true as she truly doesn't know herself. Waylera knows, in that odd way she has of finding things out, but she isn't telling anyone. Not even Vaperim. All in all though, Vaperim is an easy-going vampire, requiring only one thing of the army as she does all the rest for herself. That requirement is that they allow her, once a month, to bite an egg brought from the cave in order to produce more of her kind.
