Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nemria never knew her family. She was betrothed to Pharoh when she was born, and then taken to Valley Clan, where she was raised. She caused her Mate no end of trouble or grief. After all, it was she who convince Pharoh to take the Clan-Leader title early. Contrary to her breed, Nemria hated hatchlings. They always annoyed her. She was so vain that, when her Mate was Clan-Leader, she always ordered the Pygmy Dragons to polish her pink scales every morning and evening, until they were as reflective as the treasure that she once horded. She was an awful Co-Clan-Leader; always ordering everyone around. No one in Valley Clan ever liked her. Now she, Pharoh and, their progeny, Nemrah, live in exile. They've taken residence in an abandoned cave on one of the surrounding mountains. Without servants or "admirers", Nemria slowly went crazy. Her insanity almost drove Pharoh to kill her. Now her ex-Mate and daughter try their best to avoid her.
